Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes. In the tenant portal you will have the ability to schedule your rent payments.
The rent is due on the 1st of the month and is late if not received by 5:00PM on the 3rd day and it will be subject to a late fee.
How do I give official move-out notice?
You can give your official move-out notice via your tenant portal or by contacting us via email at rentals@thesandiegohomebuyer.com.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
You can go to this link and fill out your maintenance request. Tenant Maintenance Request Form.
Is the owner responsible for minor pest control?
No. Per the lease agreement, “Tenant is responsible for any minor pest control service, including but not limited to ants, flees, bees, spiders, gophers, etc.”
Is the owner responsible for replacing light bulbs?
The tenants are responsible for replacing any bulbs that have burned out. If you feel you cannot replace them yourself we can have a maintenance man replace the bulbs and you will be billed for the labor and material used.
How do you handle after hours emergencies?
If you have an after-hours emergency call our mail number 858-627-9320 and follow the instructions. If you are having a water leak shut the water off at the unit or the main. If you have a gas leak call San Diego Gas and Electric directly.
